This is a Library Bar in Auckland, New Zealand. Meaning you can get drunk and read in a place other than your bedroom, and it looks spectacular.

One day when I own a home, I’m going to start decorating walls with chalkboard paint. I already cover some surfaces, but it’s limited, since you know, I don’t own them. Otherwise my kitchen cabinets would be covered in chalkboard paint.

Day Four | Favorite Show Ever

Gilmore Girls (WB)

Picking a favorite show is like picking a favorite child, there are so many runners up - Buffy, Veronica Mars, and The West Wing to name a few. But if I’m going to try and name all time favorite show, and the one that had the most impact on my life it would probably be Gilmore Girls. I think more than any other show, especially because I watched it in high school, it really shaped the person I wanted to be. Not Lorelei and Rory exactly but I wanted to be the best parts of them - funny, beautiful, witty, well read, media literate. And those were the kinds of relationships I wanted, like Lorelei’s and Rory’s and Luke and Lorelei’s. It’s also the show I keep returning to, moments in my life remind me of the show, and I re-watch it fairly often. It’s also a mini-litmus test for most of my friends - if you don’t like the show you probably won’t like me.

Full disclosure - I’ve never seen the 7th season of the show. I couldn’t bring myself to keep watching when ASP left the show. I sort of know vaguely what happens, but not specifically.
